‘Dinah Was’ Benefit Postponed to Sept. 14

A benefit performance of the musical “Dinah Was,” starring “ER’s” Yvette Freeman, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. at the Coast Playhouse in West Hollywood.
Proceeds will help Educating Young Minds, a nonprofit organization that prepares inner-city youths for higher education. Tickets are $100 and include a champagne reception. Reservations: (213) 660-8587. For information about Educating Young Minds: (213) 487-2310.
