Montclair Prep 33, Kilpatrick 6--Robert Bowens ran for 122 yards in 20 carries and returned a kick 90 yards for a touchdown as the Mounties (5-1) ran away from Kilpatrick (1-6) at Valley College.
All but six of Bowens’ yards came in the first half, as leg cramps forced him out of the game early in the third quarter.
Carlease Clark ran for 95 yards in 21 carries and two touchdowns, both as the Mounties took a 20-0 halftime lead. Kevin Bentley also ran for two scores.
Kilpatrick scored on a 65-yard run by Thunder Collins, who finished with 113 yards in 11 carries.
Montclair Prep’s Mark Zone made two interceptions.
Kilpatrick had three drives end inside Montclair Prep’s 20-yard line with no points.
