Forward Marcus Johnson has been suspended indefinitely for the second time in his two-year Long Beach State career.
First-year Coach Wayne Morgan said Johnson, a 6-foot-9, 210-pound junior, is off the team “because of a breach of team protocol,” but declined to specify the reason. Johnson will not be allowed to practice with the team.
Last season, Johnson was suspended because of a locker-room altercation with then-Coach Seth Greenberg after a game. Johnson returned after sitting out two conference games.
