In another Foothill League game:
Canyon 51, Burbank 8--Jeff McKinley rushed for 238 yards and three touchdowns in 31 carries at Burroughs High to lead the Cowboys to their first Foothill League victory.
Canyon (3-6, 1-3) scored touchdowns on all seven possessions of the game. Quarterback Rick Thomas had three touchdowns on runs of six, one and one yard. Matt Gregory scored the final Cowboy touchdown on a 47-yard scamper.
The Cowboys amassed 413 yards, 304 from McKinley, who scored on runs of two, five and six yards.
The lone score for the Bulldogs (2-7, 0-4) came on a fumble recovery by lineman Mike Meyer that cut the Canyon lead to 16-8 midway through the second quarter.
