Deputies to Target Ventu Park Road Exit
Due to an increasing number of accidents at the Ventu Park Road exit from the Ventura Freeway, sheriff’s deputies will be stepping up patrols at the intersection through the week.
Sgt. Ken Bailey, who supervises traffic enforcement in the East Valley Sheriff’s Substation, said officers will be looking for drivers who do not obey the traffic signs at the freeway exit.
The increased patrols at Ventu Park and the Ventura Freeway are part of a new Sheriff’s Department traffic enforcement program that targets dangerous intersections, Bailey said.
