Free Validated Parking Offered

In an effort to making visiting Westwood Village more attractive to shoppers, free validated parking will be offered at five private lots, business owners announced Friday.
The parking validation program is part of a major effort to revitalize the shopping area by the Westwood Business Community Alliance, a business improvement district and city officials. Other planned improvements include street and sidewalk beautification and a 400-space public parking garage on Broxton Avenue.
The parking validation program is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
