Ohio Post Office Is Now ‘Reindeer Station’

RUDOLPH, Ohio — The postmaster of this northwest Ohio town promised Thursday to hand-cancel Christmas mail with a special logo that includes a likeness of Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, and the words “Reindeer Station.”
With two full-time and two part-time workers, Rudolph’s post office will have its inky hands full, given that last year’s holiday volume nearly doubled to about 60,000 cards.
Stamped cards can be brought in person to Rudolph, about 20 miles south of Toledo, or mailed in a large envelope or package (with its own correct postage) to Postmaster, Rudolph, Ohio 43462-9998.
