Airport Travelers Get Holiday Atmosphere

John Wayne Airport will entertain holiday travelers with various musical performances through Christmas Eve and also is hosting a student art exhibit.
Choirs, horn ensembles, a harpist, barber shop quartet, carolers and a ballet folklorico troupe are among the entertainers scheduled to perform in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal daily through Dec. 24. Many acts will stroll through the airport and sing Christmas carols.
The student art exhibition, Aeromainia, features work by Orange County children. The artwork is on display in the baggage claim area, terminals A and B and other points in the airport through Jan. 12.
“It’s a way for us to share in the holiday spirit with students and all of the people traveling through the airport and the tenants of the airport,” said Shana Woodyard, an event organizer.
