The Concordia men’s basketball team has lost five in a row, but Coach Greg Marshall says the Eagles haven’t given up hope.
“We’re really trying to keep everybody’s spirits up,” Marshall said. “We’re losing, but we’ve lost to tough teams.
“We’re trying to focus on the improvement, the effort. We’ve been doing a lot more things well than we have been doing poorly.”
Concordia (4-7) should stop its losing streak today when it plays Pacific Christian in the first round of the Concordia tournament. The Eagles beat PCC, 99-67, in the first game of the season.
Today’s game is scheduled for noon. The Master’s plays Wisconsin Lutheran at 2 p.m. The title game is at 2 p.m. Saturday.
