Outlaw, Webber Can’t Get Along

Clipper swingman Charles Outlaw and Bullet forward Chris Webber, who drew double technical fouls after they almost came to blows when they got tangled up in the Bullets’ victory at the Sports Arena last month, went at it again Friday night in the Clippers’ four-point loss to the Bullets at the USAir Arena.
Outlaw and Webber drew double technicals after they became tangled near the Bullet basket as they battled for a rebound with 9:27 to play.
“We got tangled up, that was it,” Outlaw said. “When guys get tangled up and they want the ball, they get upset and things happen.”
Said Webber: “It was just two guys going at it.”

Cousins Lamond Murray of the Clippers and Tracy Murray of the Bullets talked on the court before the game and in the Clipper locker room afterward.
They play together in the summer but don’t see each other often during the NBA season.
Tracy Murray missed eight of 10 shots and had four points, two rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes. Lamond Murray had no points and two rebounds in five minutes.
“It’s always fun, but when it comes down to the game to play each other, one of us never plays,” Tracy Murray said. “I guess we just have to wait until the summer when we start working out together. Every summer, that’s how we make each other better.”
