New CEO at MAI

IRVINE — MAI Systems Corp. said Monday its president, George G. Bayz, will become chief executive Feb. 10.

Richard S. Ressler will continue as the company’s chairman.

The company also said it named Lewis H. Stanton vice president, chief operating and financial officer. MAI’s chief financial officer, W. Brian Kretzmer, was named vice president, business development.

Bayz has been chief operating officer of the company since May 1995. Stanton was chief executive of Worldsite Networks Inc., An Internet service provider.

MAI Systems provides information systems for for the hotel and resort markets, as well as mid-sized manufacturers.
