SRS Labs Inc.: The Santa Ana provider of high-tech audio devices posted net income of $1.9 million, or 21 cents a share, for 1996, contrasted with a net loss of $1.6 million, or 27 cents a share, for 1995. Revenue rose to a record $5.4 million from $843,789.

The company, which completed its initial public stock offering in August, said that fourth-quarter net income totaled $721,152, or 7 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $321,587, or 5 cents a share, for the corresponding 1995 period. Revenue increased to $1.8 million from $368,217.
