Reception Scheduled for College President

Orange Coast College will hold a reception for campus President Margaret A. Gratton from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 12.
Gratton took office Aug. 5, and the reception will help acquaint her with students, faculty and the community. She is the seventh president in OCC’s 49-year history and the first woman to hold the position.
Gratton spent 22 years as an instructor and administrator at Mt. Hood Community College in Grisham, Ore., before coming to OCC. There she served as dean of humanities, dean of instruction and assistant to the president.
The reception in the Student Center is free and open to the public.
The campus is located at 2701 Fairview Road.
