Earle M. Jorgensen Co.: The Brea metals distributor reported a net loss of $4.8 million for the fiscal third quarter, compared with a net loss of $500,000 a year ago. Revenue declined 2% to $250.7 million from $254.7 million. The company recorded a net loss of $1.2 million for the nine-month period, compared to a year-earlier net loss of $8.6 million, which included a one-time restructuring charge of $12.8 million.
