Guard Brent Barry missed all seven of his shots in Tuesday night’s 10-point loss at Miami, playing 23 scoreless minutes.
“He’s got to go to practice and work on his jumper,” Coach Bill Fitch said. “A lot of times when you’re a point guard, you’re taking a lot of those shots just because the defense dictates it. But that’s not enough. He knows he’s going to have to score from the field.”
Said Barry: “When you’re 0 for 7, you’re not on a hot streak. I had good looks, I just didn’t make any.”
