Computer Systems Maker Buys New Office

Techmedia Computer Systems Corp., a $500-million maker of computer systems and peripheral products, has purchased a 182,000-square-foot office and manufacturing building at 7301 Orangewood Ave. in Garden Grove from Alps Electric USA Inc. for $9.7 million. The computer systems company, which is currently located nearby on Orangewood, will keep that 80,000-square-foot facility for warehousing and manufacturing, according to Pat Cavanaugh of the Anaheim office of CB Commercial.
