Duck update--They can put themselves in the favorable 4-5 playoff matchup by winning their last two games. The Ducks haven’t lost at home since Colorado beat them, 5-2, on Feb. 2, a 13-game unbeaten streak. Overall, they’ve lost only three games in their last 21, going 11-3-7. Goalie Guy Hebert is scheduled to start the final two games to get ready for the playoffs.
King update--They have not won in their last six games. The Kings, 2-9-3 in their last 14 games, have dropped into the race for the NHL’s worst record. Goaltender Byron Dafoe is expected to start tonight. The Kings are 0-3-1 against the Ducks in their last four games in Anaheim.
