Is it too cynical to suggest that Michael E. Tennenbaum, managing member of Tennenbaum & Co., a private investment firm in Los Angeles, wrote his April 8 Commentary piece in favor of privatizing the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to increase the chance his firm could realize some of the exorbitant profits which will result from such a privatization?
