ORANGE — Embarking on its plan to have 100 mobile MRI units in operation by the end of the year, Alliance Imaging Inc. said Thursday that it has acquired a Buena Park firm with two magnetic resonance imaging units on wheels. Terms of the all-cash purchase of Pacific Medical Imaging Inc. weren’t disclosed.
The acquisition gives Alliance, the nation’s largest operator of mobile MRI units, 89 mobile units in operation.
