Norma Page; Oxnard Hairdresser

Norma Page, a Ventura County resident for a half century, died Wednesday at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara of cancer. She was 73.
Page was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Sheboygan, Wis.
She spent 42 years as a hairdresser, working at the Kut & Kurl Beauty Shop in Oxnard just before retiring.
The Ventura resident was a member of the Oxnard Women’s Club, Oxnard Garden Club and the Oxnard Elks Wives Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynne Klamser of Ventura and Sharyl Page of Santa Paula; one brother, Roger Kunz of Mariposa near Yosemite National Park; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Quincy G. Page, who died on July 21, 1995.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home, 757 E. Main St., Ventura. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Bob Herrington of the Ventura Missionary Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Diabetes Assn.
