The Cal State Northridge baseball team will hold a free youth baseball clinic before the Matadors’ 1 p.m. game Saturday against USC.
Beginning at 9 a.m., Northridge coaches and players will provide on-field instruction for an hour at Matador field.

Paraclete High’s football clinic for high school and youth coaches will take place Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the school gym.
Speakers include Carl Bledsoe, Palmdale High offensive coordinator, St. Bonaventure Coach Jon Mack, Orange Lutheran Coach Jim Kunau and Servite Coach Larry Toner.
Cost is $20 for early registration and $25 the day of the clinic. Information: Paraclete Coach Steve Hagerty (805) 943-3255.

Signups for West Valley Eagles youth tackle football and cheerleading for boys and girls 6 to 14 will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Taft High.
