Memorial Set at OCC for Murder Victim

A memorial service for murder victim Adrienne “Sunny” Sudweeks is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday in the Horticulture Garden at Orange Coast College.
Sudweeks, a photography student and part-time employee at the college, was found strangled in her bed in Costa Mesa on Feb. 23.
Nothing was stolen from the apartment, and the case remains unsolved.
Sudweeks’ family is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer.
The memorial is open to the public.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution to OCC’s Adrienne Sudweeks Scholarship Fund or another charity in her name is requested.
Those attending may display photographs of Sudweeks at the service, organizers said.
