Speeders Targeted Near Horse Center

THOUSAND OAKS — In response to numerous citizen complaints, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department warned it will start targeting speeding drivers in the area of Avenida De Las Flores near the Waverly Park Equestrian Field today through Saturday.
Police said residents and Sheriff’s Department personnel have observed drivers traveling well above the 40-mph speed limit.
Avenida De Las Flores runs through a section of Thousand Oaks used extensively by pedestrians, equestrians and recreational bicyclists.
