SAY WHAT?

It appears that Peter Greenaway is more full of hot air than insight (“Greenaway’s Way,” by Kristine McKenna, June 1). He says we must get away from literature in cinema (cinema being a higher calling than movies?) and yet, anyone who’s seen any number of Greenaway’s films will note that he just about crams them full of literary references.

How did he get the title for “Prospero’s Books,” anyway? In a dream? Natch, Shakespeare.

Like I said, hot air.
