Three D Reports Loss of $581,635

COSTA MESA — Three D Departments Inc., which operates 22 stores selling home textiles, housewares and decorative accessories, said it lost $581,635, or 24 cents a share, for the third fiscal quarter ended May 3. A year ago, the company posted a net loss of $148,290, or 6 cents a share. Sales declined 6% to $9.8 million from $10.4 million. For the first three quarters, the company recorded a net loss of $874,416, or 36 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $25,929, or 1 cent a share. Sales were down 7% to $34 million from $36.5 million.
