Rancho Santiago College English professor Todd Huck and support services assistant June Moffett have been named the Santa Ana campus’ recipients of the Distinguished Faculty and Classified Employee of the Year awards, respectively.
As part of his award, Huck will deliver a public address during the coming academic year that will be published and distributed to colleges across the state. He began teaching at Rancho Santiago in 1988 and has been involved in the Puente Project, a development program that helps students transfer to four-year universities.
Moffett, who has worked at the college for 15 years, was recognized for her contributions to providing support services to students. She is responsible for listing class schedules in the annual catalog.
Moffett also serves as secretary for the Curriculum and Instruction Council and is a member of the Affirmative Action Committee and other groups.
