Big Inning Helps Vigilantes Win

The Vigilantes scored three runs in the sixth inning and held on to beat Tri-City, 3-2, in a Western League baseball game Wednesday night in Pasco, Wash.
Tri-City’s two runs came in the ninth inning. The Vigilantes and Tri-City both have 11-13 records.
Alan Burke’s two-run single in the sixth was the big hit for the Vigilantes. Eric Brooks singled to drive in the third run in the inning.
Mark Draeger was the winning pitcher, going eight innings. He allowed seven hits and one run. Reliever Kirt Kishita came on in the ninth to get the save.
