Man Seriously Hurt When Car Flips Over

A 20-year-old man was seriously injured Sunday morning after the car in which he was a passenger flipped over on the Ventura Freeway, police said.
Taylor Kelly of Thousand Oaks was listed in serious but stable condition Sunday at Ventura County Medical Center.
Police said Kelly was injured after the driver, 20-year-old Peter Guiterrez, also of Thousand Oaks, drifted into the center divider just south of California Street shortly after 5 a.m. and flipped the car. Kelly was not wearing a seat belt.
Guiterrez suffered no injuries but was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving.
He was being held Sunday in lieu of $18,000 bail and is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday.
