I found your article on CSUN’s Blenda Wilson very interesting (“Wilson’s Star Shines Far Beyond CSUN,” July 27). It appears this woman is given a great deal of praise. However, upon reviewing her resume it was difficult to find anything extraordinary about her.

I wonder if all of this excitement would be generated over a white male with the exact same qualifications and job performance.
