Student Art Contest, Fair to Be Saturday

About 250 young artists, writers, musicians and photographers from Irvine schools are expected at Irvine Valley College on Saturday for the fourth annual “Reflections” cultural arts competition and fair.
The event starts at 1 p.m. and is sponsored by Pacific Bell.
Students in kindergarten through 12th grade submit entries in literature, music, photography and visual arts; judging is by college staff and faculty members and residents.
Reflections is a cultural arts program of the Irvine Unified Council PTA and the IVC Foundation. Awards include savings bonds, prizes, ribbons and certificates. Information: (714) 451-5277.
