Wright Plans Talks on State Budget, Welfare

Sen. Cathie Wright (R-Simi Valley) will be speaking to chambers of commerce and city councils throughout her district over the next two months to discuss state budget and welfare developments.
Wright spoke last week to the Camarillo City Council on budget negotiations and how welfare measures will affect Ventura County.
Other scheduled appearances are:
* Oct. 27 at a Simi Valley City Council meeting, 6:30 p.m.
* Oct. 28 at a 7:30 a.m. breakfast meeting of the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce at the Courtyard by Marriott.
* Nov. 12 at a Westlake City Council meeting, 7:30 p.m.
* Nov. 19 at a Moorpark City Council meeting, 7 p.m.
* Nov. 21 at a 7:30 a.m. meeting of the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce.
* Nov. 25 at a Thousand Oaks City Council meeting, 6 p.m.
* Dec. 27 at an Oxnard City Council meeting, 7 p.m.
