Committee Formed to Review Parking Ban
In response to numerous concerns about the city’s ban on overnight parking, officials have established an ad hoc committee to discuss the issue.
The committee members are Councilmen John C. Holmberg and Steven C. Anderson.
City officials said that many residents over the years have expressed opposition to La Habra’s overnight parking ban. The ordinance does not allow parking on public streets without a special parking permit that costs about $15.
Some residents have proposed lifting the parking ban, while others have suggested restricting parking on certain days, as other cities do.
