Please allow me to describe Dave Taylor. Last Friday, on probably his busiest day since becoming the Kings’ general manager (he engineered a five-player trade with Boston, attended the Luc Robitaille news conference, re-signed Ray Ferraro, and answered reporters’ phone calls all day), Taylor still managed to call an old friend and longtime King fan so that I could personally thank him for his efforts.
