Free Parenting Classes Offered

Free classes on parenting skills are being offered through the Adult Continuing Education Division of the North Orange County Community College District.
“Powerful Parenting: For Parents Only,” will run for 11 weeks starting Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m. The weekly course will be at the Yorba Linda Education Center, 4175 Fairmont Blvd.
Three other classes will be offered on Wednesdays at Cypress Adult Continuing Education Center, 9200 Valley View St.: “Active Parenting of Teens,” from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning this Wednesday; “Effective Parenting,” from 7 to 9:30 p.m., beginning this Wednesday. and “Active Parenting Today,” a six-week course from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning Oct. 22.
