The three-day Harvard-Westlake water polo tournament continues today with second-day action involving most of the top teams in the region.
Among the schools participating are Agoura, Burroughs, Crescenta Valley, Crespi, Glendale, Harvard-Westlake and La Canada. Play begins at 2 p.m. today and continues Saturday at Harvard-Westlake.
Other events in the region today include:
College cross-country: At 3 p.m., Glendale in San Diego Mesa Invitational at Balboa Park; at 3:30 p.m., Antelope Valley, Moorpark, Ventura in Ventura Beach Run in Ventura.
Men’s soccer: At 6 p.m., Glendale at El Camino.
Women’s soccer: At 4 p.m., Pepperdine at St. Mary’s, Western Baptist at The Master’s, Cypress at Moorpark, Glendale at El Camino, Oxnard at Pasadena City.
Women’s volleyball: At 5 p.m., Antelope Valley at Mt. San Antonio College; at 7 p.m., Ventura at Ridgecrest Cerro Coso.
Men’s water polo: At 9 a.m., Pierce, Valley in Mt. SAC tournament at Mt. San Antonio College, Ventura in Cuesta tournament.
Women’s water polo: At 10 a.m., Valley in Cypress tournament at Cypress College.
High school cross-country: At 3 p.m., Buena, Fillmore, Hart, Highland, Lancaster Desert Christian, Littlerock, Moorpark, Paraclete, Royal, Santa Paula, St. Bonaventure, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Westlake in Seaside Invitational at Ventura County Fairgrounds.
Girls’ tennis: At 2:30 p.m., Harvard-Westlake at Thousand Oaks; at 3 p.m., Antelope Valley at Tehachapi, Oak Park at Simi Valley, Royal at Quartz Hill, St. Bonaventure at Villanova Prep, Serrano vs. Littlerock at Antelope Valley High; at 3:15 p.m., La Canada at Westridge.
Girls’ volleyball: At 4 p.m., Pacific Christian at Lancaster Desert Christian; at 4:30 p.m., Ramona Convent at Providence; at 4:45 p.m., Buckley at St. Genevieve; at 5 p.m., Burbank at Simi Valley, at 6:30 p.m., Agoura at Malibu.
Boys’ water polo: At 3 p.m., Alemany, Calabasas, Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, Westlake in Thousand Oaks tournament at Ventura College, La Canada in Bell Gardens tournament.
