Wright Does No Wrong for El Camino Real, 51-0

NORTH HOLLYWOOD — Quincy Wright rushed for 228 yards and four touchdowns in 14 carries to lead El Camino Real High over North Hollywood, 51-0, Friday night.
Wright scored on an 80-yard run on the game’s first play from scrimmage. He also scored on runs of 36, 49, and 34 yards.
“We have a good coaching staff and system in place,” Wright said. “We have the potential to do very well this year.”
Aaron Fredette completed only three of seven passes for 44 yards for the Conquistadores, but he scored on a 10-yard run in first quarter to make the score 16-0.
Fredette also scored on a 34-yard punt return and a 30-yard interception return.
El Camino Real had four interceptions, three by Fredette.
“We have a strong offense and we think we have a pretty special team,” said Rick Hayashida after earning his first victory as head coach.
Oscar Mendoza had 87 yards in 19 carries for North Hollywood.
“[El Camino Real] played very well tonight,” said Jason Garrison, North Hollywood’s first-year coach.
