Royal 35, Granada Hills 6--Bryant Phipps rushed seven times for 211 yards and scored on runs of 51, 81 and 56 yards--all in the third quarter--to lead the battle of the Highlanders iat Royal High.

Granada Hills (0-2) answered with a nine-yard scoring pass from Richard Mathiesen to Leon Pimky.
Royal’s Steve Sheehan rushed for 218 yards in 26 carries, including a 27-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
