Irvine Marketer Sold

SANTA ANA — Oil production company NuTek Inc. said Monday it has acquired International Licensing Group, a consumer marketing company in Irvine. Terms were not disclosed.
International Licensing’s president and chief executive, Michael A. Furr, has been named president of NuTek. He succeeds Rodger Garrity, who resigned to pursue other interests but will continue in an advisory capacity.
International Licensing is expected to generate revenue of $10 million to $15 million for fiscal 1998.
