Video to Offer Visit to Artists Village

Residents can now see the Artists Village without actually visiting the private downtown galleries and proposed public buildings.
A collaboration with Santa Ana College has netted the city a free, 10-minute video on the fledgling village, which is meant to help revitalize the downtown.
A copy will be placed in the public library.
“[The video] will tell the story,” said Susan Jones-Helper, the city’s downtown project manager. The video was produced by Santa Ana College student Ilene Blanche, who received class credit for her work. The video, said Helper, will be distributed to local arts organizations including the Bowers Museum to tout the city.
The video will be shown at the City Council meeting Oct. 6. Information: (714) 647-5360.
