Last season, the Dolphins may not have wanted to face the Lancers, perennial Division I title contenders. This year, Dana Hills is better equipped thanks to the emergence of running back Julio Peraza, who currently ranks fifth in the county in rushing yardage. Peraza had a 53-yard touchdown run in the Dolphins’ 19-7 victory against Temescal Canyon. Bishop Amat, ranked fourth this week in the section poll, has been opportunistic. In beating Pasadena Muir last week, 42-14, the Lancers recovered four onside kicks. Running back Mike Wagner had 272 yards and four touchdowns.
