Reelected Councilman and Mayor Norman Z. Eckenrode and Chris A. Lowe, who was elected in November for the first time, will take the oath of office at tonight’s meeting.

Eckenrode, 60, a pizza restaurant owner, has served 20 1/2 years on the council and was elected to his sixth term. Lowe, 28, a real estate associate, once worked as the Orange County representative for Gov. Pete Wilson. Councilwoman Carol Downey will be leaving office after 12 years.
