The photograph, showing students making ceramic pots in a Fine Arts Center program, was one of 13 selected from more than 600 submitted nationwide. This year’s selection marks the second year in a row that Irvine’s photo has been chosen in the prestigious publication.
This year’s photo, marking the month of February, originally appeared in Irvine’s Summer 1998 Community Services brochure. Copies of the calendar can be purchased from the city for $5 each. Fullerton is the other California city featured. Information: (949) 724-6610.
