Gonzaga Upends No. 22 Washington

Jeremy Eaton scored a career-high 25 points as Gonzaga beat No. 22 Washington, 82-71, Tuesday night at Spokane, Wash.
The Bulldogs (6-3) led nearly the entire game and outscored the Huskies, 10-4, in the final 1:40 to secure the victory.
Todd MacCulloch scored 28 points for Washington (4-3), which lost its third game in a row. The road-weary Huskies were playing their sixth consecutive game away from home.
Washington pulled within one point with 14:48 left on a basket by MacCulloch, but Gonzaga responded with an 18-3 run to take a 64-48 lead.

Bobby Lazor and Chad Prewitt had double figures in points and rebounds as Arizona State defeated Stephen F. Austin, 80-63, at Tempe, Ariz.
Lazor had a season-high 26 points and 11 rebounds, and Prewitt became the first Arizona State freshman since Mario Bennett in February 1992 to have a double-double. He had 15 points and 10 rebounds.
The Sun Devils (4-4) also had 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists from Eddie House. Will Porter had 13 points and Patrick Gusters 12 for the Lumberjacks (2-5).
