The city’s Redevelopment Agency on Tuesday will consider extending the deadline for a developer to submit the money--estimated at $60 million--to acquire land for the Riverwalk entertainment project. OHI Ltd. has requested a six-month extension on the Jan. 1 deadline.
The $450-million themed entertainment/retail center at Harbor and Garden Grove boulevards would include a hotel, movie theater, family entertainment center and concert hall. The meeting is at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. Information: (714) 741-5120.
