Dykhuis Returns to Flyers

The Tampa Bay Lightning acquired Petr Svoboda from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for former Flyer Karl Dykhuis in a swap of defensemen on Monday.

Dykhuis played for the Flyers from 1994-1997 before going to the Lightning in the trade that also sent Mikael Renberg to Tampa Bay. Renberg was traded back to Philadelphia on Dec. 12.

Enrico Ciccone is on the move again after the Washington Capitals reacquired the hard-hitting defenseman from the Lightning for future considerations. Ciccone, 28, returns to Washington, where he played 46 games during the 1993-94 season. The Capitals traded him to Tampa Bay in March 1994 for defenseman Joe Reekie.
