Sprint Advertisers Plug Into Technology

Sprint Corp. is unveiling a $30-million print and broadcast advertising campaign that’s designed to promote data services for businesses. The fast-growing segment of the telecommunications industry is expected to grow to $29.5 billion by 2000, up from $14.9 billion in 1997, according to market researcher Yankee Group. Sprint’s ad campaign will include the tagline “Business runs on data. Data runs on Sprint.”
