Group Seeks Changes in Proposed Theater
Neighbors of a proposed theater complex to be built near Tapo Canyon Road and Alamo Street plan to voice their objections before the Planning Commission today.
A group of Vista Monte residents will present commissioners with a petition asking the city to require alterations to a theater complex proposed by developer Robert Selleck. Commissioners will vote on whether to recommend that the project be approved by the City Council.
Residents believe that a number of details, including street lamp heights and greenbelt buffer zones, will affect their quality of life, and they want the project amended to accommodate their concerns.
The commission is scheduled to meet a 7 p.m. today at Simi Valley City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road.
