SCC Women Win Conference Title

Kristi Wright scored 23 points to help Southern California College defeat Fresno Pacific, 63-58, Tuesday in Fresno. The victory clinched the Vanguards’ first Golden State Athletic Conference title in women’s basketball.
Gina Jojola added 15 points and seven rebounds for SCC (24-5, 10-0 in conference).
In another conference game:
Concordia 76, Point Loma Nazarene 60--Heather Carll had 20 points and 16 rebounds for the host Eagles (20-7, 6-3).
In Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball:
Concordia 75, Point Loma Nazarene 67 (OT)--Josh Giles scored 22 points for the Eagles (13-15, 4-7), who played without Kalim Scott, who was suspended indefinitely for violating a team rule, Coach Greg Marshall said Tuesday.
Fresno Pacific 64, Southern California College 61--Dennis Keane had 19 points for visiting SCC (16-13, 5-6), which shot 31% from the field in the second half.
