Millikan Defeats Top-Seeded Saddleback

The Long Beach Millikan boys’ soccer team was not seeded in the Southern Section Division I playoffs, but the Rams advanced to the semifinals by defeating top-seeded Santa Ana Saddleback on penalty kicks Wednesday at Saddleback.
The teams played to a 1-1 tie in regulation. Saddleback outshot Millikan, 21-3.
