Outrageous! This is the only word that came to mind when reading about Connecticut and Villanova agreeing to give Nykesha Sales a gift basket at the beginning of their game. I’m sorry she went down with an injury, and I wish she could have gotten the school record legitimately, but this was nothing more than a farce, and I’m surprised the NCAA allowed them to get away with it.

I don’t see the problem with Nykesha Sales getting her scoring record. Villanova was simply employing the Lakers’ typical fourth-quarter defense.
